Oh my gosh. The hello disk is ABSOLUTELY life-changing. I never leave reviews but had to come back and rave about this amazing creation. I was a cup user on and off for about 4 years and just never found the right fit. I tried 5 different brands, multiple sizes/heights/diameters, different folds, all of the tips and tricks, you name it. After all that, I only had about a 50% success rate with preventing leaks via a cup. If I got good suction with a cup, I had either had awful, stay-home-from-work cramps or it pressed on my bladder. I needed something reliable and comfortable. Enter the Hello Disc. After reading the instructions and watching lots of videos, I got this in on the first try, no leaks, and no cramping! My periods are a BREEZE now. I don’t have to wear backup liners, I can pop this bad boy in and be covered for 12 hours (it holds so much!!), and it’s so comfortable, I routinely forget I’m on my period. I am obsessed. Because it doesn’t rely on suction, if for some reason I don’t get a perfect insertion, I can just adjust the disc without having to completely pull it out and start over, which leads to soreness and irritation. And the pull tab on the Hello disc? GENIUS. I can’t imagine not having the tab. I have a high-ish cervix and a very pronounced pubic bone, and the tab makes removal insanely easy. I don’t have to dig around anymore trying to pull something out of me without making a mess. If I had to use a disc without a pull tab, I truly don’t even know how I would even reach the rim of the disk to remove it. I wear mine with the tab flipped, and it is perfect. All of that being said, I will NEVER go back to cups. And I will only ever use the Hello Disc. I’ve finally reached period nirvana! THANK YOU KIM ROSAS!!

My first time using a Menstrual disk has been the most pain-free, tear-free, and effortless experience ever. I can easily collect my Menstrual blood to practice my moon-time rituals like keeping a color swatch, creating art, watering my plants, anointing my third eye with Menstrual blood every day of my bleeding time, and alchemizing it. I am so grateful to have found the Hello disk, I was so sad after trying the menstrual cup because of the pain of the suction when removing it, and I decided that it was not for me. The handle on the disk is perfect, and no suction at all, I love the fact that the disk doesn’t cut the blood flow but instead acts as a drawer that gently collects the blood.

Absolute game changer! I was skeptical at first about switching to a disc, especially since it took me 4 months to learn how to use the Saalt cup and many crying sessions, even a few panic attacks... It was not an easy transition for me from pads to a cup. I finally mastered the cup, but it just wasn't keeping up with heavy flow/heavy clot days. Discs always looked more intimidating to me because I feared them traveling far up, not knowing where it is. I follow Kim on IG and decided if I'm gonna give any disc a go - it would be hers. She did not disappoint!! I was able to insert the disc properly on 1st try! I can feel when it tucks behind the bone and is secure. It only auto-dumps when I go to the restroom - I personally think this is a huge plus especially on heavy flow days as I don't have to remove it as often and get the 12 hours of wear between cleaning. When I'm less active I leave the tail just hanging because a) I don't feel it, b) not sure if it will move any higher when laying down like my cup did. When I'm more active I like the tail flipped through the 1st loop - still easy to reach, but tends to be a bit more comfortable when exercising for me. Removal is easy, I only ever get my 1 finger dirty and that's because I like to grasp on the rim itself once it's a bit more out for better control. You could just pull the bottom loop and then your finger would be clean. Oh! Another point I don't hear often talked about is long nails. I have long nails and have no troubles removing or inserting this disc, whereas, I did have a tough time with the cup. Omg. I purchased this disc on a whim. I am a long time cup user and I didn’t know anything about disc until I started seeing them in stores. I first purchased a flex disposable ones to try out and it worked so well. I only had trouble removing it. So Period Nirvana was the first video that popped up when I searched about reusable disc and I watched several videos before purchasing. The quiz helped me find my cervix height and what to expect. I LOVED my Viv cup because of the ring so the Hello cup was my first choice. Cora was my runner up with the notch style hook. Y’all it’s mess free. I switched to reusable period products because I disliked the odor of my period. Not sure if my body odor is more intense during my period or if my sense of smell may be intensified more but I was OVER IT. Cups and disc mean z e r o odor for me! And no mess?! I found that tip about boiling my disk inside a whisk helpful. I boiled my disk for 12 minutes before I used it and found it to be more comfortable and easier to remove than my 1st period disk by Flex. The seal is perfect for me to wear for a day without needing to check for leaks.

I decided to try the Hello Disc because of consistent leaking issues with my menstrual cups and period underwear. I have had one period using the Hello disc and overall I'm happy with it. I had like 3 leaks with the cup and it was due to insertion issues. I fully expected this to happen given that this was my first go which is why I wore period underwear as a backup. Surprisingly, removing the disc was painful when I didn't use the pull tab. Once I decided to use the pull tab, removal was a breeze. I'm actually looking forward to my next cycle so that I can use the Hello disc again. If anyone asks me for a menstrual disc recommendation, I will recommend the Hello Disc

So far the Hello Disc is the only one that has worked for me! I’ve tried the Flex reusable disc - too big… the Cora disc - too small! Hello Disc is my goldilocks disc! For some reason discs just don’t seem to be as easy for me as for others. But that’s just me! The Hello disc quality is awesome, I LOVE the loops/pull tab. I feel like that is an essential feature for both discs and cups. The Hello Disc is the first disc I would recommend to try for a new disc user or if previous discs didn’t work for you. I still have cups that I will use as well, but the disc is officially in the rotation now!

It was honestly amazing. I had a Lumma disc for years and never used it because I was a little intimidated. Then, after finding out that menstrual cups aren’t recommended for use with an IUD, I assumed the same applied to discs. I recently learned that discs are actually a safe option, so I finally decided to give it a try and it was the best decision ever. I’m genuinely annoyed with myself for waiting this long because this would have changed my period experience years ago. And that says a lot coming from someone who absolutely hates getting her period. I treat it like the biggest inconvenience because I have no desire to have children, so every month it just feels unnecessary and annoying. Before this, I wore tampons nonstop. I hated pads, so as soon as I could afford tampons, that’s all I used for years. But constantly wearing tampons isn’t the healthiest option, especially with the risk of TSS, and I also started wondering if they were making me have longer periods. The disc was the perfect alternative for me. I love the HELLO Period disc and I hope they come out with a dark color like teal again. I seriously wish I had started using it sooner. I can't describe how much I love my Hello disc! Its been a serious game changer. I turn 40 years old this year and had been using tampons since I was 13. My periods have always been heavy and as I've gotten older my cramps became curl into a ball awful. I had no clue that tampons were contributing to that pain. Enter Period Nirvana and the Hello disc. After watching tons of videos on the site I got the courage to try something new. My only regret is not knowing that there were other options so much earlier in my life! My periods are still heavy but the Hello disc holds everything in with no leaks. I can go about my days and nights with less worry and fewer trips to the bathroom to check/change tampons. My cramps are still terrible but I'm not curling into a ball crying. I can feel my body thanking me for removing tampons (literally) from the equation. I have used cups before. They always say they don't leak. I guess they don't exactly leak. However I always had spills. I'm sure it's something similar to what they call auto dumping. I would sneeze, Cough, or apply any pressure to relieve gas, and I would have spills. It really turned me off to cups. I really wanted to like them. Fast forward a couple years and I am searching what makes cup spill. I'm searching how to prevent cups from spelling. Then I come across the HELLO Disc. I do quite a bit of research as I am skeptical from the cups. After some consideration, I decide to get a hello cup. Best decision ever! This was the very first period. I had where I didn't have a single spill. I tried to make it spilled on purpose. I couldn't. I had very heavy flow. I still pushed it to the full 12 hours. I was determined to push it to the limit. Not a single spill. I hardly even realized how much I had filled up the cup. It was not until I dumped out the cup that I realized how full it was. Guys...... I'm so serious you need to try the disc NOW!! If you were feeling apprehensive about trying discs, TRY THIS ONE!! On the chance it works for you the way it worked for me, dude I think it's worth the risk of trying! BACKGROUND!! I was never a tampon or cup/disc user, I was a pad girlie through and through (I hated it though LOL... I hate the whole period thing in general but who doesn't I fear LOL). I didn't want to try tampons at all, and I did try a cup before finally diving into the deep end and purchasing the Hello Disc. The reason I decided to go for the disc was because I quite recently (November 2025) got the cup for free from a local resource and was able to try it out after years of yearning to try a cup. I loved it!! Except I only put it in once and ruled it out because it suctioned to my cervix and as a hypermobile ehlers-danlos person, instead of the cup bending when I pinched it to break the seal, my fingers were bending. I know I most likely need a less firm cup, but FOR MY DISABLED GIRLIES!! THIS DISC MADE THE PROCESS SO MUCH LESS DIFFICULT AND MORE ACCESSIBLE!! NO SUCTION!! NO BREAKING SEALS!! YOU PULL THAT SUCKER OUT FR!!!!!!!!! And it was also so much easier to fold and put it in my vagina, so serious I struggled with the cup trying to find a fold that my fingers could handle, and my first-time vagina cup moment could handle. Anyway, it took me three hours to take that cup out LMAO. BUT DON'T WORRY!! If worse comes to worse (uhh whatever that saying is I prolly botched it) there is always the ER. So please don't refrain from trying cups just because of this experience I had lol. TIMELINE!! I tried the cup on November 28th of 2025, and that same night took it out and never put it back in, it was during my heaviest day (the first day for me). Finally ruled out the cup (As soon as I heard about the Hello Disc I IMMEDIATELY WANTED TO TRY IT, but needed to see how I'd handle a cup before I invested), and that next day ordered the disc. My next period started December 27th and I got my disc on the 5th of December so I had to wait until then to try it! FINALLY TRIED IT ON THE 27th AND I REACHED PERIOD NIRVANA MY FRIENDS HOLY SHIT. Been using it ever since :0)! Now when it comes to the timeline of my yearning for the cup/disc, I learned about them I believe sometime in highschool, possibly middle school, I am now 22 in college bahah! Took me a bit to find the nerve and I think finding Kim Rosas, finding Period Nirvana, finding the Hello Disc gave me that nerve to try the cup especially since my university gave out free cups. I of course took the quizzes for both cup and disc, and for the disc I got the Hello Disc haha! SO HERES THE SPECS I GUESS OF MY VAGINA LOL! I have a really high cervix and prominent pubic bone! I've never given birth, don't have an IUD, haven't even put anything in my vagina, haven't had sex, don't have prolapse but do have urinary incontinence and constipation issues, and despite all that, this was so beginner friendly dude. So if this sounds similar to you, hopefully this may mean that this can also work for you! In conclusion, personally it's so so much easier for me than pads genuinely. No leaking, can't feel it, easy to pull out and dump, easy to clean and sanitize, can sleep with ease and no worries! Genuinely reached Period Nirvana!!! I have been using pads since day 1. I *hate* the sensation having object in the canal, so cup or tampons have never worked for me. I tried another disposable disc before investing in hello, it sat well but bounce off almost everytime I went to bathroom, no matter how hard I tried to tuck it high. HelloDisc is truly designed to just...wanna be tucked, almost. I am still experimenting which tab folding/tucking fits me better (Again, hate anything in canal), but this is my last night's sleep comparing with Feb and March on pads. Im a first time disc user, and I’m so happy to finally have a completely leak free experience on my period with the hello disc! It’s comfortable and undetectable once it’s in, I don’t feel it at all and it’s nice to forget I’m on my period throughout the day. I have an average/moderately high cervix, so I go back and forth from wearing it in the dropped and flipped position, and I can reach it both ways without a problem! Putting it in isn’t too hard for me. I use the two hand technique and it tucks behind my pubic bone easily. I was trying a menstrual cup before, and had problems with leaks and reaching it to take it out (I just don’t think it was the right size for me). So learning a disc was one size fits most plus hello disc having an easy to use pull tab, I’m beyond glad both my problems have been solved! Being a first time disc user, my experience has been low mess when taking it out too and I think I’ll get better with practice. I’ve reached Period Nirvana!

This review is after a one year experience. This is my first time using a menstrual disc and I'm beyond satisfied with the Hello Disc. It's absolutely amazing! It truly is comfortable and I don't feel it while I'm wearing it. After a few times learning how to insert the disc, I liked how easy it is to insert and remove. The pull-tab is very helpful in removal. I had to use the modified step to adjust the pull-tab for my body but it wasn't an issue. Clean up is easy in the shower after removal and boy does this disc hold a lot throughout the day. I've worn this while in Japan during the summer on long hikes. It was such a relief not having to wear pads or tampons during the heat. I did not leak and I was comfortable moving about my day. Overall, I highly highly recommend this product. Give yourself time to adjust to the inserting phase. This disc will be a life changer. It certainly has for me as an investment - less mess, comfort while in motion, easy travel period care, and money saver. Thank you Kim and Hello for creating such a great product.

As an 8 year long cup user who was intimated and scared of discs, the hello disc is AWESOME! I am someone who struggles to get a good seal with my menstrual cup and I’m very pleased that I don’t have to worry about that with the hello disc! My only problem at this moment is the cup touching my cervix upon insertion, as I’m a little sensitive to that - although I bet that’s more of a me problem than an issue with the cup! However once it is in I can’t feel a thing! Definitely would recommend if you are on the fence!

As much as I wanted this to work, the Hello disc really only works for nights and light days for me. On the plus side, I didn't have ANY leaks at night after the first night I tried it, when I was figuring the disc out still and on my heaviest day. But I've tried to use the Hello disc for 2 cycles now and will (mostly) go back to a cup for now 🙈 Why? 1. It does work, but I can't trust it. It works only when I'm calm, at home. Best when sleeping. Because heaven forbid, I sneeze, pick up my squirming toddler, or move in some other way.. the disc comes dislodged & spills.🤷‍♀️ I get it in place and it seems it should stay behind the pubic bone. Then I move 🙃Maybe I'm just the minority that the "1-size fits most" doesn't fit 🤔 and you can't know if you don't try. Maybe my pubic bone isn't as pronounced as it should be? Or I have a theory that the (thicker, stiffer) rim of a disc might stay in place better if it would be smaller? But I won't know till I try a different disc some day. 2. (When i can get it to stay put) I thought this might make changing/dumping less frequent. Nope. I still need to dump it every (max) 2 hours on my heavy days. Exactly like my cup AND with tampons. It doesn't get full (same w/ my cup) but it doesn't hold more than my cup or a super++ tampon before it starts leaking. Except at night when I'm not moving. So i feel like the "this period product holds up to __ tampons" for discs and cups is all a lie 🤣 (that may be specific to my body🤷‍♀️) 3. Much messier than my cup, altho it got a little better with practice. I don't care about getting my hands dirty, but more blood would spill around "down there" when getting it out or after getting it out which means more clean up & getting stinky faster. And leaks are more significant (more blood at once) than leaks I get with my cup 🫣 Tips for making it work better: 1. Don't move 🤪 2. Inserting & leaving it sideways seemed to help w/ leaks (which negates the point of having the tab to help get it out mess-free) 3. I can only wear this doubled with period underwear and/or pads. Try it that way till you know if it works for you or not.

For a first time disc user I found it very easy to insert correctly on the first try, I didn’t even leak while I slept. To my surprise, it is super comfortable, i didn't feel it at all during the days i wore it. It only leaked my very first time putting it on but i quickly got the hang of it and never again. Waking up with it and a heavy flow in the morning... didn't make me rush to the bathroom while dripping all over. Unlike cups or tampons, this is the real leak proof period item we all need! I still get two of my fingers dirty while insertion but cups made me accustomed to that. In case of wearing my nails long more often, i might buy a insertion device in the future. I didn't buy a pouch for it but luckily, my old flex cup came with one and my Hello disc fits perfect in it. So far, everything is perfect!

I was never been a tampon person. I've always used pads so I was nervous to have something inside me all day but it shockingly felt like it wasn't there at all. The only thing is, my periods are very painful so putting this in was such a struggle. I appreciate the loop and I use it dropped so I can take it off easily but sometimes I feel the loop outside, touching the inner lips and it's also very uncomfortable during a painful menstruation. Also it's not possible to have sex when the loop is dropped but it's ok. I don't wanna go back to irritant and pollutant pads so I'll be ordering the disc sanitizer too.

*Long review ahead* Okay so I used the flex disc before hello and noticed that I still had some tiny leaks with it. It also autodumped everytime I went to the bathroom so I wondered if sizing wise it was either a little too big or too small. Enter hello disc. I really wanted to try it for a multitude of reasons main ones being the looped tab, the black color wouldn’t stain, and possibly a better fit. I saw someone named Mallory’s review on the flex disc saying she tried hello disc and that 1 mm smaller size made a big difference for her so I was hopeful. Wow wow wow. - Okay so first off autodumping -the hello disc for me doesn’t auto dump as easily which means it’s like basically a perfect fit. If I really push when I’m sitting on the toilet I can get it to auto dump. But I love having that control because w the flex reusable it would autodump whether I wanted it to or not - meaning I barely had to push (bear down) on the toilet and it would self empty. With the hello disc I had one leak on my heaviest day but I believe it to be my error. I didn’t autodump since the morning I took a 2 hour nap and then got up and started walking around and felt a gush. I should have gone to the bathroom to self empty as soon as I woke up from my nap. But thankfully I was wearing period underwear and in the comfort of my home. - the looped tab. So I kinda have a funny experience with it so far. When I insert hello disc in my body the looped tab always wants to dangle out almost at my entrance. So I have to actually tuck the tab even though it’s made naturally tucked back. It doesn’t for me so I have to push the tab back inside my body. No biggie. The disc does rotate in my body I realized. The tab is usually not ever in the dead center where I left it but usually off to the left side so when I stick my finger in I go to the left till I find it. Once I find it - it’s super easy to pull and remove the disc and dump the contents into the shower or toilet and it holds a lot despite the large ml capacity difference between flex and it. (Flex is 70 ml and hello is 50ml) I haven’t mastered the no mess removal yet but I will say that it is very minimal - way less than pinching the flex reusable disc and pulling that out -I did find it harder to insert than flex disc it kind of wants to pop open but I just use two hands and it’s never a problem or painful - the basket is more structured than flex which I prefer because I feel like it adds to more of a leak free experience. That may not be an actual thing but it seemed like it for me. I wonder sometimes if the more flexible baskets get all scrunched up in ur body and like make the basket shallower and can cause more leaks cuz it’s not as deep or bowl shaped (think of a bowl vs a plate) - the rim is kinda curved inward which I like because I feel like it prevents the contents from spilling out upon removal I feel like it’s almost like a little added lip to prevent it from spilling onto ur hand. All in all 10/10 product I’ll probably use the flex disc in a situation where I know I want to consistently autodump all day to avoid leaks but I prefer the hello disc hands down. If I can figure out how to autodump with it more consistently then I would probably feel better about wearing it in those situations where I want to autodump more without having to take it out and empty. But I deff feel like it works better all around at preventing leaks so it would be my pick! Thank you Kim and hello for making a wonderful product

First off I want to say I ordered this disc midway into my last period and it got here SO FAST that my period was still going on when the package got here. Wow! I've been using discs for a few years and cups for ages. The Hello Disc and Fun Cup are my all-time period champs. Other discs I've tried include Saalt, Nixit, and Lumma (Saalt pictured for comparison). There are smart features to the Hello Disc. The glossy inside makes it easier to clean than others and the thick rim makes it easy to put in, but the main highlight is the soda-can tab, which makes it so that I can actually reach it despite my frustratingly high cervix (a constant problem with every other disc). The tab is easy to grip - I can just put my finger in the loop and pull instead of bearing down and slipping all over trying to get an edge, string, or notch. TIP: Because the tab is so easy to access, it's tempting to pull it out fast. DON'T DO THIS! If you pull it fast, it "pops" off of the bone and spills absolutely everywhere. Pull it slowly until it unhooks from the bone. Downsides: I can't get this disc to dump while on the toilet like others, the bag it comes with is kind of boring, and as with every disc, cup, tampon, and pad in existence, I always have a catastrophic overnight overflow.

I HAVE TO PERSONALLY THANK KIM ROSAS FOR LITERALLY SAVING MY LIFE. I have ADHD and let me tell you my time management is already bad enough. I got that heavy day cramp full 7 days type of period which is a curse. I have many bloody horror stories I could share from middle school to high school. Embarrassment and shame was my experience with periods… UNTIL I SAW MENSTRUAL DISCS. Now unfortunately back in 2018-2020 I wasn’t really aware of what period cups were and i was kinda scared. I was already trying to learn how to use tampons at that time and I didn’t think it could get any better. ANYWAYS i stumbled across this product this year and my first time using it WAS MY BEST EXPERIENCE EVER?? Hello Disc is THAT GIRL! I’m 4 months post partum with my 2nd child and my trusty Saalt Soft cup (that I’ve been using for 4 years just wasn’t working for me anymore with my weakened pelvic floor after this one. It would keep slipping down and leak slightly prob because it couldn’t maintain a good suction. Ran out to the pharmacy to try a disc and ended up grabbing the Cora perfect fit. I wanted to love it but just could not get it to work for me after 2 cycles. I could get it in but had a hard time getting it tucked prob because of the notch. I also may have had an issue getting in under my cervix because it would leak. Got my Hello disc in the mail today, and got it in PERFECT, first try. No doubt about it! It tucked perfectly and much easier and no leaking so far 3 hours later. Not sure if this was an on purpose design feature but when pinched, the ends dip down much further than the Cora disc. (Pic included) I’m sure this helps get it in properly under the cervix. If you’ve had that issue and aren’t using the hello disc, give it a try! Beautiful design! THANK YOU!

if you’re looking for a complete honest and real person review here it is! first off, i WISH i knew about period disc from the beginning, especially this hello disc. i am an athlete and go to the gym every single day and always DREADED my period days because of how unsanitary pads and tampons felt. it also was ALWAYS irritating my skin. i used this hello disc for the first time on my period and it literally made me feel like i wasn’t even on my period. being able to change it every 12 hours, no irritation on my skin, can’t see it through clothing, plus the loop on this hello disc is AMAZING so easy to remove. i literally fell in love with this and now im excited for my next period just to use this. if i was an influencer i would influence this one product forever. i swear by this and i even put my sister and cousin on, and they absolutely love it.

I first tried a diva cup and it leaked, I then tried the diva disc and I could not trust it at all. Always slipping out of place and leaking. After more research I decided to try the hello disc with so much hope it wouldn't be another waste of money. Being in Canada we have very few options, and so after getting it smuggled in for me I am almost through my first cycle with it and it's actually working! Being sick at the same time, I was constantly sneezing and blowing my nose, it didn't slip out of place or leak once! Didn't even leak wearing it over night. That is the best feeling. I have yet to workout with it in but I'm building the trust that it won't fail me. I'm so happy to finally have found the right product for me! Bye bye tampons! Hello disc smuggling!

This is a GAME CHANGER!!!!! Thank God I stumbled upon this! I watched several of Kim Rosas’ videos before buying, and that helped me decide on the hello baby as my first ever menstrual disc. I recently had a iud for birth control and learned to feel for my strings and in doing so it made me familiar with my cervix height so I knew how to answer that question the period nirvana quiz, however I was worried that my tilted cervix wouldn’t allow me to get a disc. Thankfully hello disc works perfect for me. I’m ordering more today. I don’t feel it when it’s inserted, & auto dump is actually pretty amazing and nothing to be afraid of. A must by!

I’ve tried discs in the past and STRUGGLED! Basically constant struggles. But since doing a lot of research and endlessly scrolling reviews, I finally chose to buy a Hello Disc and it has been game changing. No leaks, no mess, zero issues! It’s to the point where I now look forward to my periods, like actually kind of excited. I’ll probably never reach for another product. If you’re on the fence, get off of it and buy this disc. I love this disc! I have used a cora disc and 2 different brands of disposable discs. The hello disc is by far my favorite. It is so easy to remove which is my favorite part. It is easy to insert. I love that you can change how the pull tabs are placed based on your comfort. I bought two so I always have a clean one ready and that also was a great choice for me. In the past I just had 1 reusable disc and it was always just extra steps to wash it between uses. Now I can remove, insert, and then get the disc ready for its next use with a lot less awkwardness in between. I highly recommend the hello cup. It is my favorite by far.

Was anxious to try this since I have been throwing away money on tampons for YEARS. I can surely say I will never be buying tampons again! So comfy. I am on the smaller side and I can’t even feel it. Super easy to take out and insert. Tip: I put a dab of lube (water-based) on the top for easy insertion

I've been using a menstrual cup for years now but I'd never tried a disk before. The Hello disk is way more comfortable than a cup, I actually can't feel it at all. I love that I only need to empty every 12 hours and it is very easy to remove with the loops. Would highly recommend
