Period Nirvana wants to make this effort easy and painless for small local Asheville bars, restaurants, cafes, and offices who don't have the volume to support industrial bulk suppliers with high minimum orders and expensive vending solutions.

Statistically, people offered free period products only take what they need. Could someone occasionally take extra? Yes, and you can choose to see that as helping someone who truly needed it. To keep it manageable, we recommend keeping fewer than 10 of each product out at a time and restocking from back stock as needed.
Because it's basic human decency, and your business earns real goodwill for it. It keeps employees present for their full shift and keeps customers in your space longer rather than bolting home due to an emergency. It's a win/win.
You already budget for toilet paper, soap, and paper towels as a cost of doing business. Period products are simply another line item in that same category, one that makes your space more inclusive and your customers and staff feel genuinely supported.
In an ideal world, period products would be universally free or government-subsidized. Until then, businesses can step up for the people who walk through their doors every day.
Period Nirvana is here to help supply small businesses with fewer than five bathrooms to stock. We recommend starting with 30 per product and monitoring how quickly they move before your next restock. High-volume businesses may be better served by a commercial account provider, though we'll always advocate for quality over the cheapest available option. If you are high volume and still want to order from Period Nirvana we can always discuss a custom order and volume discounts, though the lead times may be slightly longer. You can, and we understand that budgets are real. Period Nirvana carries bulk organic pads and organic tampons with plant-based applicators because these align with our own values. We wouldn't supply products that our employees wouldn't feel comfortable using themselves. We also offer scaled pricing, so the more you buy, the lower the per-unit cost. Ordering from us keeps locally earned dollars circulating in the Asheville community.
For smaller businesses, we carry compact white plastic containers sized to fit tampons and pads neatly on a toilet tank and these are priced affordably. If you'd prefer a wall-mounted dispenser or a basket that matches your bathroom's aesthetic, that works too. There are plenty of great options out there, and we encourage you to have fun with it.
This program is new and growing. We currently offer free delivery to businesses in West Asheville within a 5-minute drive of our store at 315 Haywood Rd. Email us at flo@periodnirvana.com to request delivery or ask about your zone. If you're outside our delivery radius, local pickup is always available, or we can ship directly to you. We'll expand our delivery area as demand grows.
Period Nirvana's Community Fund exists for exactly this situation. If you believe period products should be freely accessible but stocking them isn't currently in the budget, fill out our request form.
