Cleaning
Just boil the disc and rinse the applicator at the start of each cycle. Rinse both with soap and water before each changeout, that’s all!
Good to Know
Fillow's menstrual disc applicator is the narrowest available - it can work with select other brands including Nixit, Poppins Period, and Ziggy. Disc and Applicator are not currently available separately.
I tried the Fillow disc and applicator hoping it would finally solve the challenge of insertion I’ve always had with period discs — and it exceeded my expectations!!
There was a slight learning curve for the first day or two, but once I got the hang of it, it was SO easy. The disc was incredibly comfortable, worked perfectly, and the applicator really does insert similarly to a tampon.
I also loved that the stem was still easy to reach and remove, even with a high cervix. Such a game changer for me. I’m so thankful this product exists and that period nirvana helped me find it!
I was super excited to use the reusable disc with tampon applicator. I believe i got the large. Being my first time it was awkward to insert. I tried it in the shower and over the toilet but I am a bigger girl with a high cervix so maybe that was part of the difficulty. Plus not knowing if it was in the correct position. I could tell it was inside me but it didn't exactly hurt. I also found the pull string too short for my body and my husband had to pull it out for me and even he had trouble. I was able to wear it for a few hours and I only noticed leaking while I went to bathroom which was a huge relief since I ws away from home on a heavy flow day. I will try it again as long as my husband can assist.
It’s my first time using a disc and it’s so much better than an other menstrual product I’ve used. I hate keeping something in all day but it feels like a waste if I only have it for like an hour or two, but now I feel better so much better!
Amazing! As a person who really wanted to get into the reusable game but could not figure out the disc insertion/removal, the Fillow applicator and the disc with the string have been awesome.
I haven't had any issues using the applicator - if you're a tampon user, you'll pick it up quick. And if you're a person who regularly uses super plus or ultra tampons, the size is comparable.
My only wish - and I'm pretty sure this is a Fillow thing, not a Period Nirvana thing - is that you could buy the disc without the applicator. Now that I have the large disc and applicator, I would love the small disc as well. The large is a little too big for later in my cycle.
Honestly regret buying this disc. I have used many menstrual cups/disc but thought I would try this one since it has the applicator for easy insertion. I was wrong. I hated using the applicator, i could never get the disk to sit right. I started just inserting it like any other disc with my hands and I had a way easier time of inserting. I do find this disc has a huge learning curve and even now that i have had it for 6 months I feel like I have got it down to a science, still have the occasional leak which ive never gotten with any other disc even on my heaviest days. But im just overall disappointed by the fellow disc and could not recommend. I really wanted to like this product, cute idea but not worth the price.
At first I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw it, but I was sold after 2 minutes in this store. Every city should have one! I didn't even know there were so many options and I was so tickled by them that I took time to look at each one to find what I felt would work best for me. This is something that, if I had a daughter, would be my first stop on the day of her first period. Every woman should be comfortable with their cycle and know what options they have available to them to ease the discomfort of the whole experience, and this store is exactly what they need! Bravo!

All products ship from our warehouse in Asheville, NC with the exception of Saalt Wear; these products are shipped by Saalt separately direct to our customers. Shipping times for Saalt Wear will vary slightly.

How do I clean it?
Remove and wash your Fillow Disc and Applicator every 12 hours or more often if needed. Wash with a gentle hand soap or a specific menstrual cup wash.
